The Summa theologiae ( ST) generally represents Aquinas’s most considered thought on a given topic, and the work is comprehensive enough that it contains at least some discussion of almost all of Aquinas’s intellectual concerns.
During the course of his discussion he summarises his understanding of the process of cognition in human beings and he considers God, angels and human beings as teachers.
